Mark your calendars for Apple Fest, happening from Friday, September 20, to Sunday, September 22, 2024, in downtown Long Grove. If you’re a fan of apples in any form—fresh, baked, candied, or even in sangria—this festival is for you! Indulge in apple-themed treats like pies, donuts, and caramel apples, or sip on apple wine and sangria. Local restaurants also join in the fun, offering special menu items highlighting this delicious fruit. As we transition from fall to Halloween, Long Grove gets into the spooky spirit with October Days which features several exciting events:

- Witches Night Out (Thursday, October 10, 2024) is perfect for a girls' night out with shopping, sipping, and dining. Participating businesses will offer specials and giveaways.
- DIY Scarecrow Day (Saturday, October 12, 2024) invites families to craft their own custom scarecrow creations.
- Pet Costume Parade (Sunday, October 20, 2024) is a highlight for animal lovers, with furry friends parading in their best Halloween outfits.
